Your initial visit

To accomplish our goals, your initial visit to our office will be for
a comprehensive diagnostic work-up. This clinical examination may include some or all of the following:

  • appropriate x-rays
  • intra-oral clinical and computerized video examination
  • determination of need and reasons for evaluation by specialists
  • generalized soft tissue examination
  • oral cancer examination
  • diagnostic impressions
  • decay detection
  • evaluation of fractured teeth or potential fractures
  • evaluation of the impact of missing teeth
  • evaluation of existing prostheses (tooth replacements)
  • periodontal examination for gum disease
  • Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) evaluation

The Treatment Conference

After a review of all our diagnostic data, your doctor will develop a plan of treatment that, when completed, will provide you with the highest sustainable state of dental health that contemporary science can render.

Treatment alternatives, specialty care, insurance and financial issues will be addressed at this time as well.
